30.08.10 A year ago we put up the first official excerpt from The Thirteenth series. I had no idea where it would lead or even if anyone would read it. Today I’m giving you an excerpt from the second book in the series The Turncoats, knowing that book one, The Thirteenth, is being distributed all over the world and that the future is getting brighter all the time.

Waterstone's Bridle Store - Nottingham Bridlegate

21.08.10 Let's get the Autumn ball rolling with two Waterstone’s signings! The first is a reminder about October 2nd at the Nottingham Bridle store. I'll be there from 11.30am to 6 pm.

The new date for your diaries is October 9th at Waterstone’s Grimsby Baxtergate store, and I'll be there from 12pm till 3pm.

I'll be signing copies of The Thirteenth and there'll be free copies of our collectable postcards showing the cover of book two, The Turncoats that I'll also sign for you.

10.08.10 My first official signing has been followed by our first time in the Waterstone’s Cornhill Chart and we've come in at Number One! Book two, entitled The Turncoats, is due out in November. 8.8.10 I have to say a huge thanks to all the staff at the Waterstone's Ex-Arcade in Lincoln for taking such good care of me yesterday. It was a huge success, and another thank you has to go to Kate Elizabeth Cupcakes for making the most amazing array of cakes, and also to Debbie Barret for her awesome chocolate cake.

Not forgetting all the fans of The Thirteenth who came in to see the new cover for book two, entitled The Turncoats, in the form a a collectable postcard.

29.07.10 Ok, we’re cooking with gas this month at The Thirteenth!

Only just over a week to go now until my book signing at Waterstone’s Corner Exchange Arcade store, 12 - 2.00pm on Saturday 7th August.

If you already have a signed copy of The Thirteenth, you can still pop in, as in association with Twisted-by-Design, we’ve created an exclusive collectable postcard to reveal the cover design and title of book two! (Book one postcards will also be available).

We’ll also be joined by Kerry & Lisa from Siren FM’s (107.3 FM) Midweek Madams show.

I’m very pleased to say that The Thirteenth now has its first front window display at Waterstone’s on the high street in Lincoln. A very proud moment indeed, and our total for Waterstone’s stores stocking the book has increased to 97.

When I visited Leicester Waterstone's I was pleased to see that The Thirteenth had been selected for their recommended children's summer read section. I'm also honoured to have been chosen as the prize giver for the "Schools Book Quiz Final" which is taking place in Lincolnshire this year.

10.06.10 I can’t believe we're already half way through the year. It only seems like yesterday that the first books were being sold and now you can get a copy of The Thirteenth in Japan!

I'm very pleased to say that I will have my first Waterstones signing on the 7th of August at the Ex-Arcade Store in Lincoln. So if you want to purchase a copy or have an unsigned copy, pop in between 12-2pm to meet me and I'll sign it for you.

Plus as an added bonus you'll be the first people to see the cover of the new book!

I’m still very busy visiting schools and this month I've moved further afield into Leicestershire and Rutland, which has been great fun.

I had the pleasure of doing a radio interview with BBC Scotland and Author Richard Havers which you can listen to on our interviews page.

I'm also working very hard to get book two ready for November. After the signing at Waterstone's, we'll be uploading the new cover here on the site and also onto the Facebook fansite.

25.05.10 It’s sunny outside and I’m just sitting here contemplating how much fun I’m having promoting the book!

Last week I had an amazing visit to the Y8 students at Monks’ Dyke Technology College in Louth and the list of visits I’m making in May in is endless.

The facebook fan site has surpassed the half century Facebook fansite.

The book and I have a double page spread in the Lincolnshire Today Magazine check it out here.

However, the most amazing news for you guys is the fact that the book is now on sale in 76 Waterstone's stores spanning England, Scotland, Wales, Jersey and The Isle of Man!
